Polycloth

Polycloth is my name for a series I began in 2002 of double- or multiple-layered weaves in which the cloth is characterized by layers of fabric which remain independent, yet are woven permanently together.

Polycloth Shawl I - The fabrics are joined in rectangles up one side, then separate into two independent layers to make a Y-shaped shawl.

	Polycloth Shawl II - The layers trade places periodically, forming tubes which act as sleeves.
